As the Hong Kong Champions of the Kid’s Lit Quiz competition, Molly Fox (Y9, Wu), Jake Brockwell (Y8, Banks), Carlos Seade-Cabrera (Y8, Shackleton) and Alyssa Wong (Y7, Fry) travelled to Auckland, New Zealand for a week on Monday 15 August to compete in the World Finals as one of the prestigious finalists. The students, along with teams from seven other countries, spent a week visiting amazing tourist sites in Auckland, attending a literature conference, seeing the play, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, and competing in the finals. Although our team did not win, the students performed fantastically in front of the media and a very large audience. They met students from all around the world, making friends while representing the School in the most positive manner.
