On Thursday 29th September, Indochina Starfish Foundation kindly organised a visit from Terry Butcher and Doddie Weir to the School. Terry Butcher is a former England international football player, winning 77 caps and playing in three world cups. Doddie Weir is a former Scotland international rugby player, winning 61 caps and he was selected for the British and Irish Lions Tour of South Africa in 1997. The students were very fortunate to be able to spend some time with these exceptional former professional sportsmen.
Terry and Doddie coached a group of football and rugby players; there was also a very interesting ‘Question and Answer’ session followed by a ‘Football versus Rugby’ kicking competition. Many thanks to Terry and Doddie for providing such an enjoyable and inspirational morning for our students. Indochina Starfish Foundation
