Tickets are on sale now for Harrow Hong Kong’s first ever charity fashion show, which hits the catwalk in seven days’ time.
Project Harrow Fashion’s ‘From History to Legacy’ event (Monday 18th March) is set to be a fantastic showcase of fashion creations which have been designed and produced by an in-house pupil design team, inspired by the theme of culture and sustainability.
All items have been produced using either upcycled or recycled materials which have been kindly donated by the School community, and will be worn by a team of pupil models from a range of year groups.
All proceeds raised will be donated to Harrow Hong Kong’s pupil-nominated charities.
As well as presenting the garments produced by Fashion Design SCA pupils, the event will also host a small marketplace of local businesses. Designer Leanne Claxton, the sustainable children’s fashion organisation Retykle, and Hong Kong-based fashion house Carbali, will be among those present and will kindly be donating a percentage of their profits from the evening towards the School‘s charity endeavours.
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase a Project Harrow Fashion goodie bag containing a range of items which reflect the event’s focus on fashion, sustainability and environmental protection through recycling. These will be available on the evening, subject to a minimum charitable donation.
The event will take the format of a drinks reception where guests will be able to indulge in a glass of wine and canapes, some of which have kindly been donated by Sweet Fashion House, with live music provided by pupil performers. There is a formal dress code and all attendees are encouraged to dress to impress for this exclusive evening, which is set to become one of the highlights of the events calendar at Harrow Hong Kong.
Tickets are available for a minimum donation of HK$110, and can be purchased in the Temple at break and lunchtimes, or via project-fashion@harrowschool.hk
